Customer-Centric Website Design for ActronAir: Comfort, Efficiency, and Australian Authenticity

Initially, as you can see in figure 1: ‘Original ActronAir Site’ the site was built as how the business saw itself—not how customers should see ActronAir. I led ActronAir’s website reinvention, shifting from brand-first to customer-first. Decisions—from SEO to site structure to language—were guided by Australian homeowners valuing comfort, efficiency, simplicity & Aussie-owned authenticity.

Results over six months:
• Engagement +20%
• Digital lead conversions +15%

From Outdated to Outstanding: ActronAir’s Website Redesign Drives Engagement and Leads

Seven years ago, ActronAir’s website was flat, outdated, and not optimised for SEO—offering little to engage consumers or reflect the brand’s innovation. By analysing competitors, adjacent markets, and consumer behaviour, we identified what drives visitors to stay and interact, even in a category like air conditioning. The redesign delivers a modern, user-focused experience that dealers are proud to share with their customers, while also capturing qualified leads through consumer research insights and interactive tools—turning the site into both a brand showcase and a lead-generation platform.

Old ActronAir Site: Lacking Engagement, SEO, and Modern Design

The original ActronAir website reflected how the business saw itself—not how customers wanted to experience it. Built seven years ago, it was flat, outdated, and not optimised for SEO. Navigation was clunky, content was dense and unfocused, and the design lacked the visual appeal and interactivity today’s consumers expect. It missed opportunities to engage homeowners, capture leads, and showcase the brand’s expertise—leaving both customers and dealers without a modern, compelling digital experience.
